Pisa is a city in Italy's Tuscany region best known for its iconic Leaning Tower. Already tilting when completed in 1372, the 56 meter high white marble cylinder is the bell tower of the Romanesque striped marble cathedral that rises next to it in the Piazza dei Miracoli.
The Piazza dei Miracoli, formally known as Piazza del Duomo, is a walled 8.87-hectare area recognized as a World Heritage by the UNESCO. This Piazza set over an ample green field, hosts four whiter-than-white masterpieces of grandiose medieval art: the renowned Leaning Tower, the Camposanto, the Baptistry, and the Cathedral itself. The Cathedral is considered a masterpiece of Italian Renaissance architecture. The Cathedral houses several works of art, including paintings and sculptures made by some of the most important Italian artists of the Renaissance, including the San Ranieri door from 1180.
Undoubtedly, no trip to Pisa would be complete without marveling the most famous landmark in the city - the Leaning Tower. The tower is the bell tower of the nearby Cathedral, though due to ground subsidence, which occurred in the early stages of the project, the structure has slid to the side and thus sealed the fate of the tower for eternity.
Here, you will enjoy the interior visit of the tower with skip-the-line entrance and climb up its 294 steps! Consider this one of the most incredible experiences you will ever have.

Pisa is a popular destination and crowds can be expected at all sites, especially during the high season. Ongoing restoration work is often carried out at the various venues. During periods of increased inflow of visitors, the admission to the tower may be subject to delays despite our reservations. Due to security reasons, access to the tower is strictly regulated and only a certain amount of people are permitted inside at one time. You are provided a maximum of 30 minutes in the tower and no time extensions are allowed.
